The term "swirlspace" was coined by Swirlspace founder/designer Gustavo Alcantar in 1998. It is an abstract concept that identifies the physical and metaphysical space that spirals within and around each one of us.

We are individually responsible for creating, affecting and consciously altering this energy field in a positive or negative manner by our thoughts, actions and feelings. This in turn affects those people or things that are in close proximity, physically and metaphysically.

We can choose to use this influence in a positive or negative way. Our designs illustrate the magical processes of self-realization, positive creation. We choose Peace and Positivity.

Mission Statement

We combine our conscious artwork with environmentally-sound hemp clothing products. We have made a strong commitment to offer the most unique designs on sustainable fabric at very reasonable prices.

Current business practices within the cotton and garment industries are less than ideal: Cotton farming uses 25% of the pesticides in use today; Each standard cotton tshirt uses 1/3 lb of pesticide and requires 1740 gallons of water to grow (enough drinking water for 9+ years!). Many companies utilize sweatshop labor in foreign countries to churn out cheap goods. We cannot justify these practices in the name of capitalistic economic theory. We support sustainable business practices and local fair labor.

We're hoping that we can help bring more awareness of the many benefits associated with Hemp and Organic Culture in general. Anything made from wood or petroleum can be made from hemp! We seek to help overturn those national policies which defy common sense, especially the so-called "war on drugs". Hemp is not a drug, it's a PLANT. False rhetoric has been misleading the American public for far too long. We are spreading seeds of truth.

We must seek the truth beyond the mass-fed channels and rediscover our own reality. We believe we can all create a more fulfilling existence for ourselves and others thru creativity, information and cooperation.
